I’m sitting in Barnes and Noble right now. I know you would have never guessed that based on the title. This is kind of my happy place. As you guys know I work at a gas station. This gas station is in a town called Shickshinny. Now if you’ve ever been to Shickshinny you’ll realize that nobody in town can read. That’s why I come here. Anyway I’ll be right back. I’m going to see what Marx Brothers films they have.

I ended up buying Animal Crackers. That’s the Marx Brothers film I wanted. I also got The Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman. It’s a Swedish surrealist film about a knight coming home from the crusades. He meets Death and challenges him to a chess game. I can’t wait to watch it. Here’s the problem with people I know. They never want to watch a foreign film. That’s the only thing I miss about Messiah College. There were smart people. People who appreciate film and art and books. Here the only film people appreciate is Transformers. What film shit.
I saw The Artist recently. It was genius. I really loved it. I was the only person in the theater. You know you live in a brain dead area when nobody is interested in an Academy Award winning modern silent film. I know that sounds sarcastic, but it wasn’t. They movie was fantastic. It starred this French dude. I really want to see it again.
It’s kind of funny. I came to Barnes and Noble to write. I want to be a writer. I just need more motivation to do it. The funny thing is I’m spending my time writing on Tumblr instead. Oh by the way I might start doing a vlog brothers typed thing with a friend. I want to get more into Youtube. I guess that’s it for now.
